Winter in Rural France

Winter in Rural France

600.00

This is a watercolor totem of my first three months in rural Southwest France in a very, very tiny hamlet of Le Bouix. Only 18 people lived there and about 300 cows. It was amazingly beautiful but pretty remote. We were, I think, the only Americans within miles and miles so the French rural experience was not corrupted, yet. From learning French from French for Dummies, to endless cheese and baguettes, wine, wild mushrooms and endless cows it is my impression of that wonderful snippet of a time I spent in rural France.
